ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE ON M9 DUNTARVIE CASTLE BRIDGE COMMENCES 27th JANUARY
Essential maintenance to replace expansion joints, and improve waterproofing on the M9 Duntarvie Castle bridge, will take place overnight, between 8pm and 6am, from Monday 27th January and Sunday 2nd February 2020.
This scheme, with a value of £76,000, will benefit around 18,000 vehicles using this section of the M9 each day, by improving the condition of the structure, and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
This work will be undertaken using phased overnight lane closures on the southbound and northbound M9.
This scheme has been planned in consultation with Transport Scotland, Traffic Scotland, the emergency services, bus operating companies, and West Lothian Council.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
